Why Do You Exercise, Anyway?

Hi, and welcome to QuickGym! We’re glad you’re here.

Young woman with strong muscled armsWhat brought you here? Are you looking for information about health, exercise, weight loss, or strength? Or more important, are you interested in getting your weight-related health issues, like diabetes, under control? Do you want to add exercise to your health plan but just can’t seem to fit it in? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you’re in the right place!

So many are constantly let down by promises of health from fitness gurus, exercise programs, and nutrition packages. Social media, television commercials, and the like are always claiming to have found the secret recipe to help you “get skinny now!” But if you’ve tried any of these gimmicks, you’ve likely been let down a time or two. What’s worse, doctors often treat the symptoms but don’t help you treat the problem. It may seem like everywhere you turn is another dead end.

If this sounds familiar, you need a fresh perspective.

Welcome to QuickGym and our blog!

Our organization was founded in 1990 with the idea that being healthy doesn’t just mean you aren’t sick. It means thriving and enjoying life to the fullest extent of your potential. We’ve recognized that getting to that point takes daily, continual care of your body, mind, and health. You would never expect your car to keep running for years on end without regular maintenance; the same applies your body — it needs constant upkeep and preventive measures to keep running well.

We developed the QuickGym as a way to do just this. In only four minutes each day, you’ll get a total body workout that rivals the hour you would have spent on the treadmill. As crazy as it sounds, it will burn fat and build muscle, normalize blood pressure and cholesterol, balance blood sugar, increase flexibility and strength, and improve your energy levels — just by adding a few minutes a day on the QuickGym to your routine.

In addition to creating an all-in-one health system, we’ve started this blog as a way to become your health guide. Just like your car’s manual, you’ll receive regular articles that provide:

  • Information about exercise, your health, and your body
  • Insights about exercise trends and challenges
  • Tips for setting goals and continuing your maintenance program
  • News and research about health topics that matter

You’ll also get information about additional educational opportunities and chances to see how the QuickGym is shaking up the exercise world, helping so many live their lives to the fullest. We look forward to staying connected with you and supporting your health — today and for the rest of your life! Check our blog often for regular updates, or check out our site for more information on QuickGym.
